Apple Announces HomeView: What UAE Smart-Home Shoppers Should Check

Apple announced HomeView on 13 October 2026: a shared home display combining entertainment, communication and smart-home controls. The announcement is relevant to shoppers planning a connected home, but UAE buyers should check regional support before making plans around it.

What Apple announced

HomeView has a 7-inch display, Siri AI and support for compatible Apple Home and Matter accessories. Apple describes tabletop and wall-mounted versions, with availability beginning 13 November 2026 in its announced initial markets. Some personalised functions require a paired Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone or iPad.

What UAE shoppers should check

The UAE is not included in the initial availability list in Apple’s announcement. That release also lists supported Siri AI markets and languages; buyers should not assume identical features will work locally.

Our buying perspective

Before choosing any home dashboard, list the devices you already own and verify each model’s compatibility. A shared Wi-Fi connection or the word “smart” does not by itself confirm integration. For imported hardware, check local service support, account requirements and installation needs before paying.

This is a news report, not a DG Gadget product listing or an offer to supply HomeView. We have not tested the device.
