Xiaomi Blender vs Blender Pro: Which Should You Choose?
Share
Choosing between the Xiaomi Blender and Xiaomi Blender Pro starts with one question: will you mainly make cold drinks, or do you also want the appliance to heat ingredients? Our recommendation is to choose around your usual recipes, available counter space and batch size, rather than the “Pro” name alone.
The quick answer
- Mainly smoothies, juices and milkshakes: start with the Xiaomi Blender. Its manual speed controls suit shoppers who prefer to adjust a blend themselves.
- Cold drinks plus heated recipes: consider the Xiaomi Blender Pro. Its heating function and recipe programmes make it the more relevant option when soup or soy milk is part of your routine.
These are recommendations based on the published specifications and intended functions, rather than a hands-on performance test.
What changes between the two?
| Feature | Xiaomi Blender | Xiaomi Blender Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Blending power | 600W | 500W |
| Dedicated heating | No heating function listed | 800W heating power |
| Maximum capacity | 1.75L | 1.75L cold; 1.4L hot |
| Controls | Five speeds and pulse | Preset recipe options and LED display |
| Dimensions | 217 × 199 × 443mm | 176 × 223 × 383mm |
Why the wattage does not decide the winner
The standard model lists a higher blending wattage, while the Pro adds a separate heating function. That does not establish which makes a smoother drink: wattage alone is not a comparative blending test. Avoid treating the Pro’s 800W heating specification as its motor rating, or combining the two ratings into a claim about blending strength.
For a useful decision, write down the three things you would actually prepare most often. If all three are cold drinks, heating may add little to your routine. If you want the blender itself to prepare heated recipes, the Pro’s extra function becomes relevant.
Check the fill line for the recipe
The Pro’s cold-drink maximum is larger than its hot-drink limit. For hot recipes, the 1.4L maximum applies to the combined ingredients and liquid. Use the markings and instructions for the selected recipe; a large jug is not permission to fill every programme to the same level.
Measure your kitchen space before ordering
The standard blender is taller in the listed dimensions; the Pro has a different footprint. In an apartment kitchen, measure the intended position rather than comparing capacity alone. Allow room to lift the lid, remove the jug and pour comfortably. Also consider where you will wash and dry the removable parts.
Before buying for a UAE kitchen
The compared models are specified for 220–240V, 50–60Hz. Confirm the supplied plug and exact regional version on the product listing or with DG Gadget before ordering. Follow the supplied manual for ingredient preparation, cleaning and hot-liquid handling.
Our choice: choose the standard model when manual cold-drink blending covers your needs. Choose the Pro when you specifically want heating and preset recipes. Compare the current product listings for price and availability before deciding.
