Samsung Appears to Have Kicked Off One UI 8 Development for the Galaxy A54

Samsung to Unveil Stable One UI 8.0 Today Alongside Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7

Samsung is expected to officially introduce the stable version of One UI 8.0 during its event today, alongside the debut of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. The update brings several new features and will roll out gradually to eligible devices one of which is the popular Galaxy A54.

According to a well-known leaker on X, a One UI 8 build has been spotted on Samsung’s servers for the European variant of the Galaxy A54 (model number SM-A546B).

The test firmware, listed as A546BXXUEEYG5, suggests that Samsung has already begun preparing the update for the Galaxy A54 a strong sign that a public release may not be far off.

Samsung typically rolls out new Android and One UI updates to its flagship and latest devices first, before extending support to mid-range and budget models. As a result, the Galaxy A54 is expected to receive the update in a later phase of the rollout.
