Choose the correct battery size

This pack contains AA batteries only. AA cells are larger than AAA cells and the two sizes are not interchangeable. Use them in devices whose battery compartment specifies AA 1.5V alkaline batteries, such as compatible remotes, clocks, toys or wireless accessories. The device determines how many batteries it needs and how long they will last.

Alkaline power without charging

The cells use alkaline zinc–manganese dioxide chemistry. They are disposable, non-rechargeable batteries: do not place them in a battery charger. Each cell provides a nominal 1.5V, so check your device instructions before replacing a different battery chemistry or voltage.

Colourful and easy to organise

The rainbow colours help distinguish groups of batteries and keep track of which ones you have set aside. The transparent storage box keeps the ten cells organised and can be used again when the batteries have been fitted. Colour is an identification aid, not a remaining-charge indicator.

Sealing and storage

Xiaomi uses a four-part leak-resistant design combining double sealing, a modified sealing ring, an electrode formulation and an alloy-plated steel case. The batteries contain no added mercury or cadmium. Store them in a cool, dry place and follow local battery-recycling guidance when they are spent.

The advertised up-to-five-year life refers to shelf life from manufacture under the manufacturer's specified storage conditions, not five years of operation inside a device. Actual runtime depends on the device, load and use pattern; no fixed operating duration is guaranteed.
