Xiaomi Mi Smart Speaker – White

The Mi Smart Speaker L09G brings room audio and Google voice control together in a compact mains-powered speaker. This white model has a 12W speaker, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a top touch panel. The supplied packaging identifies the HARMAN AudioEFX edition, so you know which audio-processing version you are choosing.

Music and everyday voice control

Play supported music services, adjust volume, set alarms or ask for information through Google Assistant. You can also control compatible smart-home devices linked to your Google account. These connected functions require internet access, account setup and supported services; availability varies by country, language and service provider. Some music services require a separate subscription.

Key features

• 12W room speaker: a 63.5mm full-range driver provides a practical upgrade from phone audio for everyday listening.
• HARMAN AudioEFX processing: the edition shown on the supplied box uses HARMAN audio processing.
• Two far-field microphones: designed to pick up voice commands around the room.
• Touch controls and microphone mute: adjust playback locally and switch off microphone listening when required.
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: choose supported network streaming or audio from a paired Bluetooth source.

Setup and compatibility

Position the speaker near a power socket, connect its supplied adapter and complete setup using the Google Home app and a Google account. Dual-band Wi-Fi helps it fit into either a 2.4GHz or 5GHz home network. Chromecast built-in enables casting from compatible applications. Controlling television playback requires compatible Chromecast equipment or a TV with the relevant built-in support.

For a larger music system, compatible speaker pairing and multi-room arrangements can be configured through the supported Google ecosystem. Keep participating devices on the appropriate network and account. This purchase includes one speaker; other speakers and smart-home devices are separate.
