Noise cancellation and sound settings
The advertised maximum ANC depth is 42dB within a particular test frequency range. It does not remove every sound, and performance changes with fit and the surrounding noise. ANC and adaptive settings can be adjusted using the Xiaomi Earbuds app or supported Xiaomi HyperOS Bluetooth settings. The app also provides preset and custom equaliser options.
Wireless and USB listening
Bluetooth 5.4 supports everyday phone, tablet and computer audio. Hi-Res Audio certification applies specifically to wired USB playback, with a compatible source device and a data-capable Type-C cable; it is not a claim of wireless Hi-Res playback. A USB cable is not included. Dual-device switching behaviour can vary between applications.
Battery life with clear test conditions
Up to 72 hours is Xiaomi's music-playback result with ANC off, AAC audio and volume at 50%. Enabling cancellation, changing volume or using different devices affects runtime. Under the manufacturer's fast-charge conditions, 10 minutes of charging can provide up to five hours of playback. Actual charging and listening results vary; a power adapter is purchased separately.
