Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max/5/5 Pro Anti-tangle Hair-cutting Brush

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max Anti-tangle Hair-cutting Brush is a genuine replacement central roller for the X20 Max. Its orange-and-black brush combines cleaning bristles with a concealed hair-cutting mechanism to collect debris while helping reduce hair winding around the roller. This listing contains one replacement brush, not a robot vacuum or a complete maintenance kit.

Cut hair while the robot cleans

The concealed blades work as the brush collects hair and dirt, helping reduce the amount of tangled hair that needs to be removed by hand. The cutting parts sit within the brush assembly. Results depend on hair type, length, thickness and the cleaning environment; anti-tangle does not mean maintenance-free. Periodic inspection remains necessary, particularly in homes with long hair or pets.

Choose the correct replacement

This is the hair-cutting roller, model D109GL-GMZS, product code BHR9689GL. Xiaomi also lists Robot Vacuum 5 and 5 Pro as compatible. It is different from the standard orange roller and from the plastic brush cover. Check the complete robot model on its nameplate before ordering; similar names such as X20+ and X20 Pro do not establish compatibility with this particular cutting assembly.

Replacement and routine care

Switch the robot off and follow its maintenance instructions. Turn it over on a suitable surface, pinch the brush-cover clips, remove the old roller and fit the replacement. Reinstall the cover securely before operating the robot. The existing compatible cover is reused and is not supplied with this brush.

Remove accumulated hair and debris carefully without touching the cutting edges. The manufacturer instructs users not to wash the brush bearing with water. If hair becomes severely tangled, check whether the robot's dust compartment and the station's disposable bag are full, and empty or replace them as required. Restricted collection can affect normal cleaning and auto-emptying performance.
